Happy Kids Day is put on by the Taiwanese Volunteer Group, a nonprofit founded by a number of local Taiwanese professionals in the Bay Area. In a July 28 letter to the Taiwanese Volunteer Group, Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong expressed his support for the festival and appreciation for festival organizers. “I admire the Taiwanese Volunteer Group’s mission of fostering a more peaceful community through cultural awareness, understanding and ethnic diversity,” Wong’s letter states. “Cupertino is proud to host Happy Kids Day; this outstanding multicultural festival dedicated to children of all ages.”.

I have to mention two more favorite routines of the night, Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev did a cha-cha to “Power of Love” from “Back to the Future,” and brought back the fun of the movie with gusto, including a DeLorean, Lea can really dance and she did a terrific job, although Carrie Ann didn’t think it was her best, She seems to be able to handle almost any dance that’s floral leather ballet flats ballerinas ballerina's ballerina pumps ballerina flats ballerina shoes ballet slippers ballet sh thrown at her and I expect her to be in the finals, And Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani were great in a contemporary routine to “Unchained Melody” from ghost, Through all of Tony’s lifts, Betsey was graceful and elegant, And her absolute delight when they found out that they were safe to dance next week was fantastic..

With the announcement, Carneiro said “I love this orchestra and the Berkeley community. I am so proud of what I have been able to accomplish together with this extraordinary organization over the past nine years.” Conductors Ming Luke, Jonathon Heyward, Christopher Rountree and Christian Reif will serve as podium guests in the 2018-19 season, while the Symphony seeks Carneiro’s successor. A LOSS FOR MUSIC:  Last week brought the sad news that composer Matt Marks had died at age 38 of heart failure. Marks, a founding member of the contemporary chamber orchestra Alarm Will Sound, was both an instrumentalist and an opera composer, and the Bay Area’s West Edge Opera had announced earlier this year that it was including his 2016 opera “Mata Hari” on its summer season.

Then again, let’s not dwell on the hot mess “Glee” became but instead the show that started life on Fox as a fresh, quirky and joyously sweet confection that brought a whole new vibe to prime time, Perhaps the best way to do that is by recalling some of the most memorable musical numbers on “Glee.” Here are five of my favorites, So what were your favorite “Glee” numbers? Please share, The show is set in the beautiful Florida Keys, where John Rayburn (Chandler) serves as sheriff, and his parents (Spacek and Shepard) run a cozy beachside inn, In addition, he has a sister (Cardellini) and a brother (Norbert Leo Butz) living floral leather ballet flats ballerinas ballerina's ballerina pumps ballerina flats ballerina shoes ballet slippers ballet sh here, Into this mix comes Danny Rayburn (Ben Mendelsohn), the eldest sibling — and proverbial black sheep — who is returning to the fold for a family celebration..
